For expanding our Development Lab we are looking for an experienced Front End Developer

Role and Responsibilities

You will be part of the front end development team within SDL WCM Solution. This successful team designs, develops, tests and maintains all GUI related aspects of the SDL WCM products. Your key responsibilities will include the design and development of key components of the front-ends of our products.

• Designing and developing new applications and extensions to the current applications;
• Maintaining existing applications;
• Reviewing peer deliverables;
• Providing input to technical writers;
• Assisting functional and technical testers;
• Working closely with the interaction designers;
• Understanding the end-user’s needs, have an eye for design and can implement UI functionality that is visually pleasing and pixel perfect.

Skills, Experience and Personality

• Technical skills will be both deep and broad, with a focus on JavaScript, AJAX and CSS;
• Experience with XML and related technologies and specs (XSL/XSLT, XPath, SAX, DOM);
• Substantial experience in HTML, ASP.NET and other front-end and back-end technologies
• Able to work independently as well as within a team;
• Flexible, enthusiastic, independent and goal-oriented;
• Preferably holds a university degree in information technology.
