SDL Tridion Professional Services focuses on helping SDL Tridion's customers get the most out of their investment in our software. Our service offerings include customer training, functional and technical design and implementation assistance, and quality assurance services. Our Professional Services team works directly with clients and in conjunction with partners.

Role and Responsibilities

Technical consultants in our professional services organization advice and support customers and partners in the development of complex interactive solutions using SDL Tridion Content Management Software and/or the other products and services from SDL Tridion’s product portfolio.

Key responsibilities include training clients in the use of the SDL Tridion product, translating customer requirements into technical solutions; developing and implementing solutions; and integrating developed solutions with back office applications, portal technology and application servers.

• Train clients and partners in the use of SDL Tridion products
• Translate customer requirements into technical solutions
• Develop and implement web content management solutions
• Assist clients or partners in implementing web content management solutions
• Act as technical lead, coordinating all activities related to the technical part of an implementation
• Communicate directly with clients or partners, gathering requirements, providing project status updates, testing and conducting quality assurance
• This position is expected to be 69% billable on client engagements.

Skills, Experience and Personality

• Bachelors degree in information technology or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 3 years experience in client-facing technical consulting developing and implementing complex solutions using Internet and web technology
• Consulting orientation, can handle stressful situations diplomatically
• Experience with front-end Java development (JSP, JSTL)
• Experience with front and back end .NET development (C#)
• XML and XSLT knowledge are useful, but not a must
• Experience in one or more of the following Web Content Management products
SDL Tridion – SiteCore – Vignette – Fatwire – Day – Joomla - Sharepoint
• Excellent communicator, including presentations and training. Able to speak and write English fluently
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Quick learner comfortable in a dynamic environment with evolving tools and procedures
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
