Roles and Responsibilities
You will be part of the R&D team within SDL Tridion Development Lab in Amsterdam. The technical landscape is very diverse, covering technologies such as JavaScript, CSS, XML, XSL, ASP.Net AJAX, IIS, WebSphere, Apache and relational databases.
Your tasks will be:
- Designing, developing and running tests and reporting/documenting functional and technical test results in this complex technical landscape.
- Configure/setup test environments including test tools
- Accurately document test results
- Review peer deliverables
- Provide input to developers and technical writers
Skills, Experience and Personality
SDL Tridion Development Lab is a Work Hard, Play Hard environment. We are specifically looking for the following skills:
- A university or bachelor's degree in Information Technology or similar via work experience
- At least two years experience with testing and test methodologies
- Experience with automated test tools
- Knowledge of .NET and Java platforms
- Knowledge of and experience with setting up and configuring Microsoft and Unix operating systems, web servers, application servers and RDBMS’s.
- Experience with networking and/or communications protocols as needed for setting up test environments.
- Ability to work individually and as part of a dedicated team, including product manager, developers, testers and technical writers
- Flexible, enthusiastic and goal-oriented
- Working knowledge of written and spoken English
