Haven and British Holidays, part of the Bourne Leisure Group, the largest and most successful holiday company in the UK decided to take their successful online sales channel to the next level.

The main objective for the new Web site was to increase Haven and British Holiday’s conversion rates, increase the percentage of online sales and ensure customers are able to achieve their objectives online, and improve visitors’ online experiences overall.

The proposed solution was a phased growth plan, involving the implementation of the SDL Tridion R5 content management system to build a new dual-branded Haven and British Holidays Web site. SDL Tridion’s partner, Amaze, was selected to oversee and manage the implementation for its considerable experience and knowledge of understanding complex technical integration problems and delivering solutions to overcome them.

SDL Tridion was chosen as its content management solution for its powerful BluePrinting technology, which enables organisations to localise content while preserving the general brand, navigation structure and look and feel of the main site. SDL Tridion R5 and .net technologies assisted Haven and British Holidays in adopting the latest Web technologies for integration with the reservation system. SDL Tridion was used to enforce strict Web standards conformity to deliver a cutting edge and accessible Web site.
